The annual servicing requirements for fire hose reels stipulate a flow and pressure test. The results are recorded on the service label attached to the reel. In addition we undertake a full visual inspection of the hose and all the fittings.

Every 5 years, the it is a requirement that the hose is pressure tested to ensure the integrity of the whole unit. We carry the required test equipment which allows us to pressurize each hose to its maximum working pressure. The maximum working pressure is usually 12 bar and typical test pressure of 18 bar.
