The Brief

Project Overview

Dry Risers Direct is proud to be delivering essential fire safety infrastructure at the prestigious Thornton Park development in Clapham. Located at 44 Clapham Common South Side, London, SW4 9BU, this ambitious mixed-use, residential-led project is set to transform a former industrial site into a vibrant new community.

Developed by Watkins, the scheme includes:

• 340 new homes

• 41,000 sqm of SME office space

• A new public square for residents and the wider community

Scope of Work: Dry Riser Installation

We’ve been contracted to design and install 11 dry riser systems, totaling 96 outlets, throughout the site. All systems are being installed to BS9990:2015 standards, ensuring compliance, performance, and long-term fire protection for the entire development.

As of July 2025, the project has reached its halfway milestone, with installation progressing smoothly and on schedule.

Health, Safety & Compliance

All systems are rigorously tested and installed to BS9990:2015 fire safety standards, providing critical protection across high-rise and mixed-use buildings. Our team works closely with Watkins and on-site professionals to ensure safe, efficient, and regulation-compliant delivery with minimal disruption.
