Project Overview

Dry Risers Direct recently completed a dry riser installation in the heart of Stockport, Greater Manchester, as part of the ambitious Mayoral Corporation Town Centre West regeneration zone. This strategic development is one of the most significant in the North West, aiming to deliver 3,500 new homes and over 1 million sq. ft. of commercial space — all designed to breathe new life into Stockport’s urban landscape.

Our role was pivotal in ensuring the fire safety infrastructure was in place for this next-generation community hub. Tasked with installing two complete dry riser systems, we delivered a solution tailored to meet the high demands of both our client and their stakeholders.

The Challenge
For many developers and site managers, a dry riser installation is unfamiliar territory — and this project was no exception. As is often the case, we provided not only expert installers but also acted as specialist partners to guide the client through the entire process.
